Still out here doing great things in the reserves. I got selected to Staff Sergeant (E-6) so eventually Iâll get promoted to the next rank. Thereâs a big list and Iâm in the higher end so it is going to be a while.

Yesterday I attended the funeral service for my friend Cpl. Daegan Page. As I was waiting for the doors of the church to be opened, I looked up and there was a rainbow in the sky. đ„Č

Was going through my box of memories and pulled these two out today.
I don't know if this will mean much to anyone on here, but it means a hell of a lot to me. Got this coin a few years ago while visiting the depo. 100 years of sweat and history. And the EGA (Eagle, globe, and anchor) that was placed in my hand as I received my title as a Marine all those years ago (ten next year, Good grief). I miss it all, good bad and ugly.

The various obituaries for Pvt. George H. Bandfield from local papers (d.16 Feb. 1923), and his headstone. Bandfield also describes marching at Abraham Lincolnâs Second Inauguration and Lincolnâs death in his diaries.
