ING Americas is donating $ 250,000 to Peru Earthquake Relief Funds
According to ING Americas, ING Americas has recently won $ 250,000 for relief efforts after the tragic earthquake in Peru on 16 August. The donation has been made to both the International Red Cross and UNICEF. Peru has recently seen another of the world's current tight national tragedies with a very strong earthquake that killed several people and led busy cities to rubble. ING has made this donation, partly because they keep much of its operations in Peru. Their activities include asset management, pensions and life insurance. "The devastation in the affected areas is overwhelming, and ING's businesses and employees in America are prepared to provide financial support during this time of response and recovery," said Tom McInerney, ING Executive Board member, Chairman and CEO, ING Insurance Americas . "As a member of Peru's economy, we work to support the relief effort, because we have a responsibility to the countries where we operate and our employees live." In addition to very generous donation, the ING has set up an employee giving program that they will to encourage their employees throughout the Americas to make their own personal contribution to this field is in read any help they can get. ING has also established a fund through the International Red Cross convened Peru earthquake disaster Relief Fund. This fund also gives employees the opportunity to donate money to the areas affected by this natural disaster. So many people must be wondering what ING actually is if they are willing to play a big role in this earthquake, and since this company is of course internationally. ING is working with several companies that serve their clients under the ING brand and a workforce of over 120,000 people as a global financial institution. Global financial institution? ING offers insurance, asset management and banking services to more than 50 different countries for a total of up to more than 60 million companies, institutional and private clients worldwide. Quite amazing. For America alone, ING responsibility to keep jobs for 28 000 people. And it's not just the U.S.. Other regions include Mexico, Chile, Peru, Canada and Brazil. It is comforting to see that a company of this size is actually not worried about all the profits and are willing to help in the community. Most companies are worried only about profit and not take the time to set up relief funds and money of their own, never thinking that one day they would be in the same situation as these poor people in Peru. Two thumbs up to ING for their generosity.SOURCEING Americas

Machu Picchu - How the Inca civilization destroyed?
Although Machu Picchu is the most popular place in Peru, you'd be a little disappointed to know that there is no direct road from Lima, Peru to Machu Picchu. Once you have landed in Lima, you need to reach Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca empire. The distance between these cities is towing over 700 miles. You can fly from Lima or take a bus to travel a long and difficult. Once you reach Cusco, you must make another journey to reach Aguas Calientes, which is the nearest town to Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu, the famous ruin is only a few miles from Aguas Calientes. You can walk or take a bus to get there. Now we'll discuss all this in a more elaborate way. Lima to Cusco Most people reach Lima by an international flight. If you arrive in Lima with enough time, certainly you can stay a night or two, and getting around town. Many people reach the Peru case with a budget of 4 / 5 days. In these cases, you must fix your flight so you arrive in the morning. Most popular flights land early in the morning at the airport in Lima. So you can take another flight from Lima to Cusco in a few hours. They have 3 / 4 budget airlines in Peru and some of them offering flights every few hours from Lima. But you should not buy tickets from the airport, not when you buy your international ticket, make the connecting flight to Cusco in the morning. Lima Cusco flight time is only an hour, so you can reach the Cusco early in the afternoon the same day. There is another alternative route. You can take the bus to reach Cusco. This is a long journey though. There are some good bus companies that you can choose as Ormeno or Cruz del Sur. They have luxury buses traveling between Lima and Cuzco. If you do not hurry, you can choose the bus instead of the plane because they are really cheap. Flat will cost around U.S. $ 100.00 one way. Considering that you only need U.S. $ 30.00/40.00 for travel by luxury buses to Cusco. But remember to take the bus about twenty hours to reach Cusco. Cusco to Aguas Calientes Cusco When you turn, you can stay overnight here, or go to Machu Picchu, the same day. It depends on how many days you intend to stay in Peru. Cusco is a city landmark. If you can spend a little time, you will certainly enjoy the city. But if you're in a hurry, then take the train from Cusco afternoon to reach Aguas Calientes. Train travel is great and you'll have to sit for more than three hours on the train (the distance is 70 miles) you will find an enjoyable experience. There are many hotels in Aguas Calientes to sleep in. If you are a busy time, so I recommend booking a room long before arriving there. Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu You can wake up very early to take the bus to reach Machu Picchu ruins. It is less than two miles, and you need twenty minutes to reach the ruins. Aguas Calientes is a very small town. They only buses for transportation. You can browse the city easily on foot. They have two bus stations in the city, it is in the middle of the city, very close to where the train stops, the others are at the end of cities, to Machu Picchu. Take bus from Aguas Calientes is easy, the box is at the bus station and buses leave the city to the ruins of Machu Picchu to a small interval. So take a bus, take the little 20 minutes, arriving at Machu Picchu and admire the magnificent Machu Picchu.
