Quick 10 minute sketch dumps (except the secretary bird that guy took time and still looks shit lol) A semislug, secretary bird and Valais black nosed sheep, a badger, a snail, a tuatara (these guys are actually the last surviving member of their family, they also have a third eye), a humpback and a Portuguese man o war (these guys arent actually jellyfish but a colonial organism aka a bunch of little animals living together each with their own task forming a large group, essentially each small animal or zooids is like the larger things cells), a glass octopus ( also not a quick sketch, these guys are found in the depths where most animals are blind so no need for colour), and a nautilus ( the sole extant cephalopod with a hard outer shell)
Sorry! I didn't wanna be rude or presumptuous and explain a thing you already knew. Semislugs are like,, snails that are partway into evolving into slugs! Slugs have evolved independently several times, and there's some creechers still around today that show the in-between period. The shell is very small, usually flat, sometimes (but not always) integrated into the mantle. Think big chungy slugs with a flat little shell on top!

Widemouth Bulimulus (Amphibulima patula)
You might be thinking that this snail looks a bit too fat to retract into its shell and you’d be right to think that. The widemouth bulimulus is in fact totally unable to retract into its shell. It’s actually a semislug, not a snail. It is native to the island of Dominica where it eats banana and citrus leaves. It can grow to be around an inch long (2.5 cm).

@rococokara a semislug is basically a slail/snug (snail slug) because slugs are evolved above snails and don't need their shells anymore, but semislugs are sort of caught in between evolution, like catching someone who's half naked but trying to get dressed. They have sort of shells that may or may not be hidden under their mantel (the weird part of their backs that makes them look like they have segments) and the shell is there but it's not really big enough for them to actually use it, so essentially it's slugs stuck walking around with a dollhouse instead of a normal house
