Oh Hiiragi, what we never learned about you... XD

There’s a lot of blanks to fill in there, so much so that I’m kind of surprised Saki never did a series from the POV of someone else. I’d love to see Shusuran’s POV on the whole thing. She seems like a take-no-shit type, and I’d love to see how her friendship with Enju developed. Hell, I’d like to know more about Enju beyond her crush on Gyokuran. I have a lot of questions about the gender politics on Tes. 

For all of them, I would have liked to see how they embarked upon their chosen fields of study - those were mentioned but (except for Shion, who was basically IT support) really never followed up on.

I have encyclopedias of meta in my brain let me tell you.

IDK about an OTP??? I liked Jinpachi and Issei from the OAV, but once you read manga volume 11 you sort of understand why it’s so important for Issei to move beyond Enju’s lost love.

And I have a lot of feelings about Mokuren and Shion’s relationship and the ... well, let’s call it a dubcon element. That bit has not aged well, has it? I’ve had to do some mental work to rationalize it in my brain, but there’s a lot from anime of that era that you have to rationalize to be okay with. (Ye gads, Hana Yori Dango.)

In the end, I’m happy that Alice and Rin were able to move forward as themselves and create a relationship that’s theirs, not Mokuren’s and Shion’s.I do think that Haruhiko should cross universes and end up with Moemi from Video Girl AI.

Yoko will always be one of my favourite fictional characters! She has an incredible arc about becoming more confident in who she is and standing up for what she believes in! Her initial reactions to landing in an entirely different world are incredibly real, as is her slowly coming to grips with new responsibilities! She is amazing!
