Since Ziibi and Selkee had their stories and concepts swapped, how her past holder died ? I know it was because of her powers, but since her miraculous is not a shell different from old Ziibi, how the holder could have died since a kwagatama could not have be placed inside of a tooth earring ?
So how Selkee's Transformation abilities work is first through the use of the power "Scan", in which they touch the tip of their harpoon to an animal or something with its DNA (like fur), and that animal essentially joins a "catalog" of animals that the holder can then Transform into by using their second power "Shift".
So what happened to Selkee's holder is that instead of placing the kwagatama into the Miraculous like was needed for Ziibi's old powers, instead this holder used Scan on a kwagatama, recording all the genetic information within (which contained the makeup of multiple holders). They then tried to Shift into it, which had the same result as in Ziibi's original story, where the powers attempted to Shift the holder into multiple people at once, this action resulting in their death.
Decided to switch Selkee's and Ziibi's concepts/powers, alongside backstories.
Selkee the Seal, Kwami of Transformation
Selkee is curious, playful, and very energetic, however she struggles opening up to new holders after tragically losing one due to her powers. Once a bond is created though, nothing will hold back this Seal from giving his full affection. She loves to give his holders small trinkets as gifts. Perhaps this is due to the fact that she doesnât create Kwagatama anymore.
Selkee's Miraculous is a tooth earring, and her tool is a toggling harpoon. Her favorite food is watermelon, and her transformation phrase is âSelkee, flippers up!â.
Selkee currently resides in the Drifting Box, which can be found in Tonga with their Guardian.

ahhh thank u i love going to stores and getting cheap little nailpolishes in calming colours and sparkly colours (the sparkles feel nice when i rub them on my face) and yeah that was my left hand and it's significantly cleaner and much better than my right and i think i did i pretty good job even though i know theyre gonna get messed up pretty soon
