it can be daunting to get into a new hobby or craft. you aren't gonna be as good as you wanna be and it takes time, effort and patience but they know that. your f/o(s) are proud you are even trying something new out for yourself! finding something to bring a smile to your face when you finally get it done or to a point you feel proud of!
on the flip side, getting back into hobbies can also be challenging. you might feel out of practice or worried you have forgotten all you knew but that's okay. you know you and your f/o(s) know you too, it might take little bit but you'll fall right back into the groove you once knew, the love you once had for that hobby.
