Are you joining us? 💖 I'm so excited to announce a Challenge for February that I'm hosting with Alice of @lakshmi_rose_ ✨ We're going to really explore self love and self care next month, what does it mean to us, do we have enough of it within us and and how we can improve in this area. Most of the prompts are questions we can ask ourselves and use our cards to delve into the answers. There are also some photo prompts to mix things up and make it a fun challenge. There will be two self love tarot spreads and we will post those the day before on our Instagram pages. And finally there will a big prize up for grabs for one beautiful soul who completes the 28 day challenge and shows they have made a dedication to loving and knowing themselves this month. As for the card I pulled, the Three of Bones, I believe my tarot is also suggesting that another way I define self love is through goal setting and inspiration - which is very true! Something I am always actively thinking about is my future, but not just where I want to go - how I want to get there. Putting in the effort to make my life a little better and to take me a little closer to my goals is another way I define self love. By doing this, I am showing that I love myself and my life enough to put in the work every day. That falls under actual work, school, and even goal setting with loved ones. Recently I’ve made plans with my partner to move into an apartment together by the end of the year! My current living situation often leaves me feeling very depressed, stressed, overwhelmed, unhappy, etc etc. By setting my goals to move out with someone I love very much and that makes me happy, I am practicing self love. And it only inspires me to work harder in school (to graduate next year), at work (to save money for our move), and not only in our relationship but my relationship with myself.

Day Twenty Two of the Self-Love Challenge How Can I Communicate with Myself More Lovingly? This Self-Love Challenge seems to be focused around my OCD, anxiety, and the way those things affect my relationship with myself. The Eight of Swords always appears when I do a panicked reading. It's there to say, "Guuuurl, you know it's all in your head." But the Nine of Cups tells me to take stock of my emotional needs, to be fair and kind to myself. Keep my cups steady. Then everything will be balanced. Above the Lovers seems like a body image card. My fiancé has brought to my attention that my self esteem has dropped lately. I have my reasons, but I want to be kinder to myself regarding health and my ever-changing body. If I can look and see myself as my fiancé does and believe that my body is beautiful and of value, much of the negative self talk would cease. Day Twenty One of the Self-Love Challenge My Spiritual Relationship with Food Today's Juice contains beets, orange, carrots, and green apple. Incorporating juice into my diet has completely changed my relationship with food. I no longer crave sugar and red meats constantly. Sure, I still indulge. But I love myself and my diet a lot more than I ever have before. It has changed my spiritual practices too. Day Twenty of the Self-Love Challenge hosted by @lakshmi_rose_ and @thewitchymoon How Can I Stay Grounded in My Root Chakra? The G. Hobyah from the Faerie Oracle by Brian Froud appears for me when I have let my irrational fears get the best of me. Judgement advises me to look at these fears with an eagle's eye from above and rationally. Then all things will come to light. The release of these fears will allow me to stay rooted down and level-headed. Finally, the Six of Cups reminds me to lean on my fiancé, my soulmate. Connecting with her always leaves me feeling grounded and peaceful. She has always been home to me. Day Fourteen of the Self-Love Challenge hosted by @lakshmi_rose_ and @thewitchymoon How Can I Balance my Heart Chakra? When I was shuffling the cards as my lemon tea cooled and my mint face mask hardened, these two cards literally fell out of the deck. Ironically, I had this exact same reading a week or so ago, but here it was again. The key word for balancing my heart Chakra to me feels like Gratitude. Sometimes I can get caught up in my head with indecision and over thinking. It's tumultuous as the ocean at high tide. But if I only stop to look and realize that no matter how loud the chatter in my brain gets, I have The World at my fingertips. All I have to do is reach out and grab it. See the bless and not the stress in my life.
