Hi everyone! Did you know May is Mental Health Awareness Month? (May is also Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month 💜) Mental Health is truly important to me, because it is something I knew very little about about until I was older. I’ve lived, coped, and endured with my own journey. From anxiety, to intrusive thoughts, to depression, and not being kind of myself. It took me a long time to address it and be honest with myself and realize how I want to write my own story and heal. We are all dealing with our own journey. Mental health issues don’t make you weak and they don’t define you. Your experience, your pain, your lows, your path, your hopes are all valid. You come first and it’s important to learn how to check in with yourself. I am personally a trained community counselor but I am not a licensed mental health professional so I will direct you to those here & these resources to great follow this month for anyone in knees of support or where to start with seeking therapy ❤️: @mentalhealthamerica @namicommunicate @joinreal For BIPOC: @ethelsclub @inclusivetherapists @latinxtherapy @asiansformentalhealth @browngirltherapy @jointhecosmos Other supportive clubs for de-stigmatizing mental health & advocacy: @rarebeauty @girlsnightinclub @saddie_baddies I personally will be sharing little supportive notes and checks in like this, coming from a supportive bestie core 💜 because I truly want everyone to know it can get better, some days might still be tough (it still is for me too), and resources are available for you #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #destigmatizementalillness #loveyourself #selfloveadvocate #embraceyourself #wellbeingsupport #mentalhealthadvocate #contentcreationtips #selfdevelopment #selflovejourney #selfloveclub #youareworthy #rabbitrabbit (at Los Angeles, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/COVyRx1gS6r/?igshid=5zrs5lzzaf88
