Wow it’s amazing how certain song lyrics and messages either goes over your head or under your radar when you hear them in passing (as a kid)....but then when you need it the most (several years later)....it some how resurfaces in your mind and gives you what you need at this moment in life.

I have to give Madonna her 🌹 🌹 🌹 for this tune....I’ve always found it soothing when I heard it my 9th grade year of high school, but I have to admit I didn’t know exactly what she was speaking on, like I knew the chorus and some of the lyrics, but it didn’t speak to me yet....until over 20 yrs later when I had to learn the “good” in “goodbyes” and the power of “good bye”. The lyrics speak for themself and it confirms to me that it’s really okay to let go of people.

So if you’re questioning saying goodbye to certain people taking up space in your life; that don’t deserve your presence and good energy, then listen closely to the lyrics of this song and the answer will be clear.
