I've been thinking a lot about routines and rituals lately. How they help to simplify. To slow down time. To remind ourselves that we are worthy of our own time. I've refined mine several times since setting the intention in early 2012 to honor myself daily. Today it looks like breakfast with the husb 5/7 mornings, shared bus rides 4/5 weekday mornings, and meditating with @headspace on those rides. Exercising 3/7 mornings for 1-2 hours, following that up with as much time as I can spare in the sauna. That's where I make time to read. When I sit at my desk, I eat a rice roller (my addiction!) and taking my #supplements - #serrapeptase, #probiotic, #B12, #vitaminC, #D3, fish oil, ginkgo forte (new!), wild yam complex, antronex and adrenal complex, collagen, magnesium citrate. I take at least 30 minutes to review email and clarify my tasks for the day, before diving into it. These tiny ways of honoring myself are compounded throughout the days, months, years. It prevents me from rushing through my life. #onethingatatime #tinyactsbigimpact #selfcare #selfcarelookslike
