why haven’t i posted this here before? last january i made a 50 pages black and white comic in 10 days, titled “Trying To Love Like This” (another death’s dynamic shroud reference). it’s like a shattered mind exploration through spiritual and emotional heartbreak, where popular culture characters (Hello Kitty, Kirby, Celebi and Carbuncle from Final Fantasy 8) interact and wander in abstractly figured psychological reflections. i’m proud of this one and planning maybe an indirect sequel. i made it this way to be able to cheaply print it and handle a bit of distribution (i’ve sent a few to San Francisco-based Silver Sprocket - if ever!). if you’re interested in owning one or more and support me directly, send a mail to [email protected] (also my paypal adress, wink wink). here are a few extracts (read it right to left, like typical manga):
