Dear friends!

You constantly ask me about the materials that I use in my work. So here it is! I decided to share information about each of them separately: for what purposes I use it, where you can buy it.

The first important tool that I hunted for a long time:

■ Uni Mitsubishi Pencil «UNI POSCA PC-1M 0.7mm WHITE marker» from Japan.

In my work, I understood that in order to make my portraits more realistic, I needed a pencil that would allow me to draw bright white highlights on eyes, accessories, etc. I have tried many different tools.

At first I thought that a white pencil would help me with this, but it looks dull and does not give the bright, crisp highlight effect that I need. Then I looked at what some artists use in their work.

■ Sakura 37488 Gelly Roll Classic 08 (Medium Pt.) 3PK Pen, White.

It's already better, but for some reason my pen very often stops writing, and this happens at the most crucial moment: you need to put a small highlight and ... then it stops writing.

Once I saw the artist's work, where he was asked what kind of tool he used in the work for highlights and he answered: «UNI POSCA».

I immediately found it in the online store, ordered it, tried it in work and ... my happiness knew no bounds! This is what I needed all this time!

Where can be used, the advantages of «UNI POSCA PC-1M 0.7mm WHITE»: — glare on the eyes; — glare on clothes and accessories; — perfectly overlaps graphite and coal; — dries quickly — tips: needle / bullet-shaped / beveled / brush; — thickness: 0.7 mm, 0.9-1.3 mm, 1.8-2.5 mm, 4.5-5.5 mm, 15 mm, 8 mm; — marker ink consists of water, pigment and titanium white, safe for children.
