the found family (melts my heart every time. one of the reasons why i’m really looking forward to reading six of crows as per my sister’s recommendation. e.g., the black bulls from black clover)

the mentor and protégé (i always get the wise mentor as a persona in uquizzes which is probably why i love this dynamic lmfao. recently rewatched thg trilogy and got reminded of how much i love katniss and haymitch’s relationship. bonus points for the “she’ll hate me for this but at least she’ll be safe” thing they got going on lmao)

the trauma bond (slaps whether in fiction or in real life lol. e.g., katniss and peeta)

the shifting dynamic (zuko and aang take the cake for this, although i’m pretty sure there are other pairs that go through multiple stages in their relationship. i like to use this in my writing, too, especially for the angst™️ heheh)

the fake dating pair (my beloved. there’s a reason why all my series [i only have 2 written] all involve fake dating lmfao)
