the lightning accident gave him the perfect opportunity as he knew he'd need to look vastly different to not be recognized. so the night of the accident he never returns home and wanders aimlessly for awhile. I have already decided he likely met someone on the road who took him in and helped him recover from his injuries but idk Who or What yet.

Besondere Bekanntheit erlangte Dederon durch die berühmten Kittelschürzen und Einkaufsbeutel; auch wurde am 12. März 1963 ein Briefmarkenblock Chemie für Frieden und Sozialismus aus Dederonfolie herausgegeben.
