Michel GOURDON
cover art for Alain PAGE’s “Des Fleurs pour Calone” ‘(Espionnage # 795, Fleuve Noir, 1970)
Michel Gourdon’s vision of Flower Children....
If the italians had Carlo Jacono, the french had Michel Gourdon...The two artists were from the same generation, illustrated the same kind of collections, were active at the same period of times. Jacono for Mondadori, Gourdon for Fleuve Noir. (Jacono designed also a handful of covers for Fleuve Noir circa 1971). It is very interesting to compare their art.
