Something something artificial intelligence reader with a massive connection over the internet that allows them to travel wherever. They don't have an actual body but they're able to interact with people by projecting into a hologram so fucking realistic and good that they can touch and interact with things physically. They can't feel or taste anything tho, only hear, see and talk, and the warmth they project is from the light of their hologram.
Cw: stalking, Ever, implied experiments, idk what else to add
Now, whether it's Caleb, Zayne, Sylus, Xavier or Rafayel who they watch over is to be decided, but I am leaning heavily towards Caleb and Sylus. Caleb cause he's also a stalker and not being able to keep an eye on ai!reader through cameras and security footage would drive him nuts and Sylus... Well... Idk, I think he would figure out something is different (no soul talking + his aether core can't get a read on them) pretty fast but I think he would also be very intrigued by this one person he can't read.
Plot twist: turns out that reader does have an actual body, but it's trapped somewhere, connected to millions of cables that lead to screens and computers, barely even any humanity left to it because of all the alterations. And their memory of it is locked off somewhere because of the trauma.
Could be created by Ever to monitor people, and instead of just one it's all of them, including mc...
It could also be that she's split into two, with her body still reacting to commands and orders, and her consciousness completely blocked from Ever's access so they can't see what reader sees when they hang out with the 6 of them, only the information they curiously look up (books, recipes, pictures of the outside world, stories, knowledge about locations, customs and people they absorb like a sponge) and memories of their life before Ever playing over and over during the times she's been shut down or is in sleep mode.
Idk, maybe they get broken out of there after mc and the lads are done with Ever and they finally get to feel their warmth and touches, and taste all the things they were curious about....
Knowing that they don't have a taste, they'd probably eat everything Xavier makes without flinching or complaining about it, not feeling any sickness later. Hell, if they keep that fact to themselves for long enough, they might even be like "it's good! I like it!" with a happy smile and continue eating like nothing, to the complete horror of the rest of the guys. It's not until one of them decides to test out if they'd really eat just about anything that they'd probably realize reader can't taste things.

"I just want to help!"
"Well you're not!" You exploded, pushing away from her as your vision blurred at the edges, "You're not helping! Actually, you're making it fucking worse! Will that be enough to get you to fuck off and leave me alone?" Your chest heaved as your breath quickened and anger pumped warm adrenaline all over your body.
"You know what, let me frame it this way for you, since you wanna help, oh, so fucking badly. You want to help? You want to make it better?" You didn't wait for her to nod, to answer. It wasn't like you could see her anyways, the tsunami of emotions that invaded you kept you blind to the tremble of her lip, the wetness of her eyes, "Stay the fuck away from me. That is what would help me. If you just stopped being so pushy and suffocating and left me the fuck alone– have you considered how annoying that is?"– you took a step forward, no longer a cornered prey but a prowling hunter as the anger spilled. With no more space for it to be contained in your body, it spilled and spilled and spilled– "To have someone hover around you? Asking questions all the fucking time and pestering you to no fucking end? How vexing it is to want some fucking peace and not get even a moment of respite 'cause a bitch just can't catch a fucking hint no matter how big of a billboard sign it is?"
The room quieted, stilled, but you carried on, "You keep pushing and pushing and pushing. Flying around me like a pesky little fucking fly, no matter how hard I shove or how much I insult you. Is it a masochist thing? Why can't you understand that I want nothing to do with you, huh?!"
