Tim Buckley - Sefronia (LP)
Datum: 11.10 Ort: Fairkauf, Hannover "Sefronia" hats für mich nie gebracht. So ist das bei Künstlern, die viel veröffentlicht haben: Eigentlich gibt es immer ein Album, das es einfach nicht bringt. Geknödelter Gesang, zu dick instrumentiert. Man höre sich nur einmal "Dolphins" an, das fast erstickt an der Überladung mit Pathos. Auf Live-Aufnahmen, spärlich von Buckley allein dargeboten, entfaltet sich die wahre Schönheit des Songs. Ich hab die Platte vielleicht nur 3 mal wirklich gehört, aber echt mal: Wenn man die Platte aus dem Schrank zieht und auf der Rückseite grinst Buckley in die Kameralinse wie ein Kreuzfahrt-Animatuer mit Hawaii-Hemd und offenen Armen - wann ist man dafür mal in der Stimmung?
