No, I won't.

Because you see, I care about people. Even if I don't know them. I have always been bad at seeing others as just statistics. Just numbers. I don't know why, but that's the truth. I will always care about my fellow humans.

Can I always donate? No, unfortunately not. I wish I could, but as someone with no income, that's just not feasible.

But here's the thing, I have heard time and again that even sharing and reblogging helps. That it gets the message to others who can donate. So, reblogging matters. Sharing matters. Amplifying voices matters.

And who have I heard that from, you ask? From the people of Gaza themselves. I made a friend in Gaza through this whole debacle and he told me that sharing alone already means so much. I have seen posts and gotten asks with the same message. Even if you can't donate, share and reblog because it helps.

What about fake campaigns, then? Well, you see, I don't really care. Of course, I wish people weren't so greedy they'd use a literal war as a way to get money. But I'd much rather accidentally reblog a fake one once or twice, then deny the actually struggling people my help.

Can I change the world on my own? No. But I can do my part, and I will continue doing so.

I will not let myself be deterred just because other people think I should stop. Unless you can come with proof that a campaign I reblogged is fake, don't bother.
