So angry I am speaking fire I think I might be dying Can’t stop choking And denying Feeling with such vicious intensity Overwhelmed but overjoyed The words come tumbling out of me And I am helpless beneath their gravity Chaos and denial Will I cease to exist when you let go my neck Or will I then come to be real

When I’m looking out into the darkness like this It’s hard to see how anyone will find me in it My eyes are filled with shadows that pour out like sand And I’m spewing vitriolic ink without a chance to breathe Bent over by it Unable to stand
It’s a sensation of escape Freedom like running as hard as you can Without looking back Just shedding all the shit and dropping it as you go Leaving it all behind Explosions of feathers and flight Blasting the doubts and fighting through the pain
