#seed lore

beautiful and heartbreaking is the only words to describe it. i absolutely love the lore and history of the seed family/eden’s gate. my favourite scene in the book has got to be when john and joseph reunited for the first time: “he was shaken, but as a seasoned businessman, he maintained his composure until we entered his well-appointed office, where he fell into my arms”. or when jacob was the only to sit on the cache of weapons hidden underneath the bus seat cause no one was brave enough to ask him to move.

So I think I mentioned this before on my old blog that I miss so much but John said 

“My parents were the first ones to teach me about the Power of Yes” 

and I said that it was strange because the Duncans didn’t seem the type to beat him but in BoJ it was said that only Old Mad Seed beat the kids and their mother was like a ghost, checked out and not part of reality.

Some people disagreed and felt that the Duncans would definitely have beaten John for transgressions but in my down time I was thinking that even if they did hurt John that still doesn’t make sense because in Jacobs Eulogy, Joseph says 

“My brother Jacob was a fighter...he fought our parents”
