i’ve kept the first mention of seed kids ambiguous so far but tbh there is no way to mention it during the rabbit mess so. it’s likely that gray actually mentioned them to jack? in a very offhand way i.e. that sky “wasn’t the only one” ? and jack tries to make sense of it on his own for a while after the end of nighthearts but eventually does tell sky about it (tbh! he thinks it over while she is on her first travels bcos he has way too much time for himself) and he’s so wary abt actually telling her after she comes back?

during their confrontation in the labyrinth gray let something slip abt the immortality seeds & later sky actually goes out of her way to travel and find those children only to realize they all meet the same inevitable fate, the same that awaits her
