How about a foreign visitor to the conservatory Miki- he's both a rare adult and has some actual business with her, instead of just a desire to pester with small talk.
Maybe a little small talk. He's trying to make more of an effort here in Konoha during his stays instead of just holing up in the temporary quarters he's been assigned, studying the few medical texts they've granted him access to. It's still a bit awkward at times and even though he is not technically an official proxy or representative for his country C is still aware that his actions reflect on his home, his Raikage, and A is certainly not a man that he intends to bring disrespect to. So he tries. He leaves his tiny little room and makes conversation and is patient with the budding medic hopefuls he is helping to teach.
"I was told you're the one I should speak to." They've met before, briefly, C escorted by some of the other medical nin to places of interest concerning their field of study, the relationship with Konoha's hospital making the conservatory an obvious destination, but he doesn't really know much more than her name and rank, her position here.
A scroll is held up, held out, for her to take.
"Information on our hydroponic systems. The basics, anyway. Though Konoha doesn't seem to be lacking space for cultivating."
“Depends on what you’re wanting to talk about,” she laughs. A wild guess would be that it has something to do with being here in the conservatory. Miki is always eager to host visitors to the conservatory considering most people did not visit, especially people from out of town. It wasn't as if it was a tourist attraction. How interesting will it be to talk to someone from another village too! Sometimes she got a little tired of the day to day village gossip. Perhaps it is the same for C when he returns home as well.
"This is very generous of you, C! Thank you~" she exclaims, carefully taking the scroll from him and turning it in her hands, her eyes practically gleam with interest. There is no question that this will become her reading for the evening.
She gives C a few eager pats on the shoulder, then nods her head in the direction behind her. “Would you like a tour? We have many fascinating specimens!”
