We see in Oyster's backstory that Spaghetti is buying info off from Peking. Peking only knows things about cults, and from his skin event there was mention of a cult in Nerves, where the Tavern is. Spaghetti is not only messing around with the Vatican, but also playing around in defending his territory at the same time. I wonder if that's why he was looking at Margarita's cult, if they're the same ones, he wants to invade first so that the Vatican doesn't get that upper hand. Peking is someone-
- who doesn't care how the cults are destroyed, he only cares for his own. So whether Spaghetti or the Vatican destroy it, he still gets the benefits. Now comes the question of, however, what would he do when approached by both of these groups with a grudge against each other? Spaghetti doesn't want the cults because bad business, and the Vatican doesn't want the cults because fake-sheep whatever the saying is. But when choosing for the aftermath, which ones would he betray, to clean up.
I havenât read any of these backstories, so Iâm gonna go off of what youâre saying and try to give my thoughts on it lel. Also before I start I just have to say that, man; Ghetti is spoiled for choice on who he should betray huh.
If Iâm honest though, I canât see Spaghetti liking the idea of a cult in Nevras, itâs his territory, and I get the feeling that itâll end up being a sort of âThe only one who can do illegal shady shit in Nevras is me.â kind of situation. So with that all being said and done, it makes sense that heâs entered into this little bargain with Peking, both men want these cults gone, even if they donât get along with each other theyâve now got a common goal, and I can see Peking being able to coexist with someone for a small period of time because of that.
In regards to managing these two extremely volatile groups who both come to him for assistance, Peking strikes me as a master of organisation, but also a master of persuasion. Heâs been around for a long time and heâs probably seen variants of these types of groups at each others throats before. He would carry out skilful negotiation between the two, gently and slowly, heâs the mediator, and with his calm and calculated behaviour, and eventually I can see them coming to an overall agreement on how to tentatively work together.
When it comes to Peking betraying a group at the end however, I can see him betraying Spaghettiâs group over the Holy See/Vatican, what the fuck ever, fucking Food Catholicism. Partly because the Holy See has a lot more influence; I know Peking is no boot licker or ass kisser of any kind, but for the sake of having some god damn peace, heâd probably choose to fuck Spaghettiâs party over instead of Pretzelâs lot.Â
In my mind Spaghetti is kinda sorta wary of Peking Duck because after all.. UR unit... AAAAND all the stories of him destroying whole cities. Ghetti isnât stupid.Â
