When I started my job at the bridal shop, I went online and bought some professional black clothes so I would have a variety to wear while sticking to the “uniform”. Also when my friends and I had a clothing swap earlier this year I kept any black pieces that fit me.
Now that I am starting as a bank teller, I have gone through my closet again - and I am sending most of those new to me black clothes off to ThredUp to make room for a different kind of professional wardrobe...
Grey pants, a couple cute prints, just a little more variety. Black looks sharp, but it really isn’t fun to wear all the time, especially when the clothes don’t quite fit right or aren’t quite my style...
So here’s to figuring out what I like, how to find deals that will fit, and always editing the wardrobe...
