Hiyori has planned for the member of Magi to go out shopping together. Although, Fuuka doesn’t understand why, but it sounded like it would be fun. It wasn’t often that the three of them get to spend time together outside of their idol activities, If Hiyori and Ibara are both much more talented than her. If they got along better, it would significantly improve their synergy during performances. But that’s just her asking for too much, is it?

Since Fuuka is usually the slowest to get things done, she opted to arrive at the meeting place early so they wouldn’t have to wait for her in case she’s late.

She waits by the fountain at the center of the mall, just admiring how the water flows. Come to think of it. This actually the first time she was invited to go shopping with someone, or go hang out in a group in general...

Everyone in Shuuetsu were not interested in even speaking to her because of how...different she is. She couldn’t blame them though. She’s worlds apart from them after all.

The chiming of the bell signalled freedom and as much as Kajika was fascinated by her studies, she too was ready to call it a day and escape the confines of the stuffy lecture room. Dodging between the clusters of students that had stopped to converse, she made a beeline for the door and after a little bit more artful dancing to avoid bumping into someone she was out of the building.

Many students still had late afternoon classes but as that wasn’t the case for her, she made her way towards one of the many exits from the university grounds. On her way towards the exit, her silver eyes caught sight of a familiar figure. Stopping in place, the young heiress took a moment to study the individual in question and determine why it was that he triggered a feeling of familiarity within her.

Wait a minute... wasn’t that...

“HI-YO-RIN!!”

With a loud exclamation as the only warning, Kajika charged across the campus grounds and flung her arms wide to embrace her target mere seconds before they collided and toppled to the ground in a tangle of limbs. Laughing unrepentantly, she gave her captive an enthusiastic grin despite their position on the ground for she truly was happy to see him again after all this time. The young heiress could honestly not recall how long it had been since they had last seen each other but it certainly was great to known she could seen him as often as she wanted to now as it appeared he was also a student here.

Hair falling loosely over his face, Nagisa crouched to check underneath the coffee table in the living room. He’d been left on petsitting duty while Hiyori had gone out to pick something up. Jun and Ibara likewise were out of the house. As Nagisa had been fetching a glass of water, the little pup that had been left to his care had disappeared.

The kitchen was pup-less, and so too, it seemed, was the living room. Getting back to his feet, Nagisa’s gaze swept around the room he stood in, indifferent to the strands of hair that continued to obscure part of his vision.

Perhpas it was how quiet the home was when he was there alone, but he soon heard the clicking of the animal’s nails on the hardwood hall in the entranceway. By the time Nagisa made it to the foot of the staircase to check the hall, he saw Bloody Mary’s waving tail disappear over the top of the staircase.

Following after her, Nagisa found himself on the second-floor landing, Bloody Mary once again nowhere in sight. Was she playing a game with Nagisa?

There were two doors ajar, his own and Hiyori’s. Had the other left the door open when he’d gone out? Peeking into his own room, Nagisa didn’t see anything out of place. Which left Hiyori’s room.

Upon nudging the door open, Nagisa found the little pup he’d been following curled up on top of Nagisa’s bedspread, looking up at him and whining.

Oh.

It seemed they were in agreement that Hiyori had been gone for far too long. Leaving a crack in the doorway, Nagisa joined Bloody Mary on top of Hiyori’s bed, letting her climb into his lap.
