This second draft of my more advanced walk cycle that includes a secondary action, which was a tail moving. I have moved on from the single line of action from the tail into a more defined shape that is not just a line and more of a noticeable feature of the character. I intend on making this more defined as at the moment it is just a very faded line just to get the initial idea for the shape and is a lot lighter coloured than the main body frame. 

this is another principle that adds to the first motion by giving it more complexity while still keeping it realistic. It's important that secondary action doesn't take away any attention from the primary action. A good example of secondary action is someone walking while their arms are swinging (the primary action is walking and the secondary is the arms.) A bad example if secondary action is someone crying with their hands completely covering their face, blocking the crying completely takes away from the primary action.
