Re:Dress, 3222 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles (Atwater Village), CA 90039
I believe Re:Dress is a Finnish concept store where people rent racks and sell their secondhand clothing, bags, and shoes. The seller sets the prices and Re:Dress gets a 15% commission (essentially a consignment store). It’s a little nicer than Buffalo Exchange or Crossroads.
Because people rent racks, you have to look through every rack and things aren’t really organized in an easy to find manner. I imagine the clothes come from people who live nearby. It’s maybe 90% women’s clothing with only a few racks for men. There were some interesting brands and a bit of vintage but most items are upscale not couture (as in Anthropologie, Madewell, JCrew). Madewell blouses were about $15 - $20 and Madewell dresses $35. That’s about what you’d expect to pay on eBay only at Re:Dress you can see the item in person and try it on. I noticed a couple of sales racks.
It's a nice looking store filled with racks of clothing. They also sell candles.
No returns or exchanges.
3.5 out of 5 stars.
