I cannot describe how much I love this ship. Their dynamic is just so interesting to me. Sebastian is that old-world vampire that MG scoffs at, but they canāt help but tease each other any chance they get. Not to mention Sebastian was there to calm him down when MG was tempted by Alyssaās blood, so he obviously cares about him. They just have so much potential, and I will definitely be continuing to write about them in fanfics.

What kind of fic Iād write about them: Romantic but also a bit sad. I like exploring Sebastianās feelings of being unworthy, and of course there has to be a lot of sexual tension. Sizzie just explodes with it on screen.
A favorite canon moment: Sebastian is a multifaceted character, so I will pick a few moments based on the emotions. Silly moment: Sebastian and MG cat fighting in Kalebās bed room. Sad moment: Sebastian crying after explaining that he had to watch the Croatoan kill Cassandra. Romantic moment: Sebastian talking to Lizzie in the car after they had sex and saying that he wants to stay at the Salvatore school āif youāll have me.ā
Color that reminds me of them: Red (Not just because heās a vampire. Itās also because of Harry Hook lol)

A headcanon about them: Sebastian becomes fascinated by movies and starts going through a list of ā100 movies you should see in your lifetime.ā Lizzie is more than happy to watch them with him, but he has to start watching them alone because watching the movies with Lizzie turns into sexy times far too easily lol
A random AU I think up on the spot for them: Since I did Sizzie on the other one, here is one for Sebastian/MG. I can imagine a sort of jock/nerd AU. MG sees that Sebastian is this cool guy that can get all the girls, so he asks Sebastian to mentor him on how to get girls. Sebastian gives him terrible advice, but itās hilarious for him to watch MG fail. He starts to fall for MG. Sebastian comes up with new practices so he can secretly flirt with MG, and MG starts to realize he wishes the flirting was real. Nice dose of mutual pining before they finally get together!
Anything else: Sebastian is just such a fun, interesting character. He brings a lot to the story, and I really hope he will be a regular in season 3. I want to see him interact with more of the characters.

How are you gonna work around how Sebastian was turned into a vampire in the story with MG? Since it was said in this episode that his parents sold him when he was young and Cassandra is the reason he was in the box?
Great question!
2x09 actually works pretty well with my Sebastian x MG story. In the first chapter of my fic, I always intended that what Sebastian said to MG would be a lie. Since I didnāt know the backstory yet, I figured that was the safest way to cover that. I have been writing the fic really slowly to try and see if we learn more about Sebastian. This last episode has finally filled in the missing pieces, so I can write more quickly, though once I catch up to 2x09 in the story, I may have to put the fic on hiatus while we wait to see if Sebastian will return to the show this season.
I plan to pull from as much canon as possible with this fic while also fitting in Sebastianās growing affection for MG. Thereās a lot of spaces in between the canon scenes that I will be adding new scenes with Sebastian and MG. Iām also planning to work in Alyssa as MGās friend, though I donāt think sheāll have a major role.
