Hey, Mettaton... I-I wanted t-to... a-ask.... about.... w-well.... I'm not sure about my gender identity.... I currently identify as Demi-Girl, but I.... I'm not sure... well... if it's my real gender. I'm confused.... and I-I'd like your opinion.
Ah! Figuring out your gender can be tough. I canât really answer that question for you, thatâs only for you to be able to determine, but I will tell you some things that are important for you to know:
- Demigirl is a real gender, and is just as valid as any other
- You can be a demigirl whether you be DFAB, DMAB, or intersex, it doesnât mater
- You do not by any means have to be âhalf female half agenderâ to be a demigirl. (In fact half and half might suggest a possibility bigender, but really it just deends on what youâre comfortable identifying with) The definition simply states that your identity is mostly feminine, and the rest is âanother gender,â which could be anything, even male.
- Demigirls can still be feminine and be valid, even if theyâre DFAB
Personally, I myself think âdemiboyâ suits me, but I donât really feel comfortable going by it, either, so I just safely say Iâm male because itâs a more comfortable spot for me. You could always just go by ânonbinaryâ at least for now, without getting specific, if you donât think youâll be figuring it out anytime soon and you donât really wanna say youâre this or that.
