It had been a strange two years for the former Deathrunners leader. For a good portion of his very long life, he had always been the leader. He built the gang up from nothing and made it what it was today. Then one day, an eight year old was dropped at his doorstep, and he was told that one day this child would grow up and take his job and then become a god. It was hard to believe, but Sebastian had seen weirder things over the millennia. He helped raise Mathias, and taught everything about running a gang and also what it meant to be an adult.
The last day was hard, having to say goodbye to so many people. Retirement would be good for Seb, his kids would certainly be happy. Still, it was going to be hard to stay away. The Higher Ups tried their best to keep him away too, specifically from Mathias. But everyone else seemed to be fair game. So when he heard the little necromancer was gone for a week, he decided to visit. It would be hard on Mathias, knowing that there were pages of missed calls from the necromancer that Seb had to ignore.
He was looking for someone specific on this visit, and when he found them, it brought a smile to his face. He approached Knox silently as always and put a hand on his shoulder, "You look lost in thought".
