Whelp, my wife was right. Again 😒 This seems to happen more often than not. Being new to the whole marriage thing I wonder – is this to be expected? 🧐 Let me explain – I have always been an android guy. Repeatedly I was told by friends, family, marketing, etc that iPhones were better. Three years ago I succumbed to the hype and bought one. It was awful! I struggled with it for a week and then took it back and exchanged it for an android. What a relief that was 😀 At the time people told me that I just hadn’t taken enough time to acquaint myself with how to use the iPhone but that wasn’t it at all. I knew how to use it, I just didn’t like the way that I had to use it. There were certain features missing that I was used to on android and it was just overall an awful experience. Early on in my relationship with my wife she informed me that she wanted us to be an iPhone family. 📱 An iPhone FAMILY? 😳. She felt the same way about androids that I felt about iPhones -hated them. A week ago I relented and got an iPhone knowing in my heart that I would only keep it for a few days and return it in exchange for an android. Within minutes of taking possession of this iPhone I knew that my life had been forever changed. I don’t know if I just had a bad iPhone last last time or what happened but lawdy this thing is amazing! I remember once asking my son why he liked iPhones so much and all he said was, ‘It’s more intuitive and it’s just… Better.’ He couldn’t really articulate specifically why it was better he just insisted that it was. Now I get it. Wow! It really is ‘just better’. And especially with the whole family using iPhones it makes sharing information, photos, and more so much easier and more efficient. How about you -Android or iPhone?
