“Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about plants that seasonally change shape, shade, and scent.”

The Project or Problem Last August, I planted some perennials that just didn’t fit. They flopped over, got eaten by bugs, and basically reminded me I need a plan, not random pots.

They walked through conceptual design, plant selection, layout plans, and professional installation—all broken down in friendly, non sales-y language.

Ideas or Takeaways I loved their focus on layered planting (ground covers, mid-tier perennials, canopy trees) and seasonal interest—bright spring blooms, summer shade, fall color. Also spacing: “don’t cram—give room for growth.” I might need a site plan after all.

Closing – Personal Note or Reflection Maybe by next season my yard will feel less like an afterthought and more like a destination. I can imagine walking through beds that shift color and height, while sipping iced tea.
