HAVE YOU GOT A SPARE CHRISTMAS CARD? If you have, please send it to the Queen Victoria Seamans Rest.  Most of the residents here do not have any family. Christmas cards received are shared out between the residents and used to brighten their rooms and to show them they are not forgotten. All that is necessary is to sign the card with your Christian name or ‘from a friend’. On the envelope write Christmas Card, this way the Seaman’s mission can forward it UNOPENED and each resident can open their own card.
