UPDATE: I’ve since disposed of the skull, thanks everyone for their kind words and helping me!
So basically I found a seagull skull with a couple inches of the spine still attached on my local beach. It’s mostly decomposed, with sand caked on the nape of the neck. There might be gross stuff under that sand and in the skull, but I didn’t look. I picked it up with an inside out plastic shopping bag and took it!
I don’t know how to clean it, and I’d like to preferably do it in the least gross way possible! I won’t use bleach since I’ve been reading that it’s too strong. Any suggestions?? I have no idea what I’m doing.
