Performance is obviously the most important subject besides the portability and design; Seagate did not allow the wireless connectivity to compromise the data transfer speeds at both upload and download. What I found very amusing like a kid in a candy store is how quick and smooth the video streaming was, I could not even get my fast broadband to stream movies that smooth without buffering or lags sometimes and that was a big plus for me as those movie files were big.

The same goes with documents and image files; to access the files, you can do so via the free app provided which is also multi-platform ready so you can use Android, iOS or simply over the web.  If you lose patience with the already fast speeds, you can just connect via the USB 3.0 cable connection.  Overall I was impressed with the data transfer and battery life performance.

Conclusion

The bottom line is that Seagate did a great job with the Wireless Plus, it is sturdy, slim, light and most of all you are getting a large storage space for your money.  If you purchased a 16 GB iPad rather than the 64GB or even the biggest Apple do at 128GB, you will still be spending a lot of money, you can simply spend less on a multipurpose/functional wireless hard drive.
