This was a region that Red had never seen before. In his twenty-two years of his life, he never thought he would visit a place so tropical. It’s been a few hours since he had gotten off the plane and packed his things in his hotel room and he had plenty of enough time to rest up. So he decided to go an explore the area a bit. He locks the door to his hotel and turns to go out, when he sees a woman go down the corridor. She looks familiar, almost like his old friend Casey, but Red hasn’t seen her in so long! Could that be her?

Another knock at the door. Excellent, this will be really fun. He was thinking of making his costume even scarier, but he didn’t have anything around to do so. Instead, he’d just put more ketchup. He wanted it to really look like blood. He even puts some on his fake scythe. This was going to be fun.

Opening the door slowly, the champion began to laugh evily. “Who dares disturb the Grim Reaper?”

Red was just hanging out on top of his mountain. There were not many things to do around here besides catch Pokémon. Though that was the reason that Red had decided to live on a place like this. If he could just find that one Pokémon his Kanto Pokédex would be completed. He made a promise to Professor Oak and he was determined to keep it.

Something sparkled in the snow that caught the boy's eye. He got up where he was sitting and went to check it out. It was egg shaped. Was it some sort of Pokémon egg? Red knew if he left it in the snow like this it could be hurt badly. He warmed it up in his hands gently. Now to see what type of egg it was. The pattern was like one he had never seen before. Now this was curious. He brings the egg inside to keep it warm. Well, Casey was coming today. Perhaps she would know?

The night fell hard on the Smash Mansion. Most of it's occupants were asleep, for tomorrow they had battles to compete. However, one child was still awake. He couldn't go to sleep no matter how hard he tried. There was something on his mind, but he wouldn't tell anyone. Not even his closest friend in Smash.

The two boys were newcomers to all of this "smashing" business. Maybe that is what made them such good friends! Not only that, their adventure during the Subspace Emissary made them even closer.

Red got off his bed and went into the kitchen to clear his thoughts. Something worried Red, but he didn't know what. He opened the fridge and got himself a soda. This wasn't good for when you're trying to sleep, but it seemed he wasn't going to sleep anyway. Then he noticed a prescience and jumped. Oh, thank Arceus it was Lucas.

"Hey Lucas, what 'cha doin' up so late?"
