Runa took being a mother in stride, adapting almost seamlessly to every challenge that arose.

Upon entering their home each evening after a long day at work, Runa would be greeted by her girls in turn.

Carelessly their daughter would barrel straight into her legs and cling on for dear life, yelling a somewhat muffled hello to her mama.

Once her arms were free, Runa would happily hoist the girl up onto her hip, giving her an extra squeeze before reaching out to MC, for the brunette to receive a hug and kiss of her own.

Each time the two women kissed, an audible, "ew," could be heard, which never failed to draw an abrupt laugh from Runa.

The night-time routine was Runa's favourite time of the day. Like clockwork, after their daughter had been bathed, the toddler would break free only half-dressed to run amuck around the house.

Runa would play along, moving from room to room until the three-year-old allowed herself to be caught by her mama.

With the game ending, the squeals of laughter that filled the room, warmed Runa's heart as her daughter wiggled in her grasp until she was snuggly bundled up in her arms.

Together Runa and MC would tag team putting their energetic three-year-old to bed, one gently weaving the child's unruly locks into a plait as the other read a story.

Love my girl that loves hating on me. 😆
