As for SDRA2, I’m not like, religiously following it? Like, I’m not actively searching for playthroughs or anything. When a new chapter gets released I just kinda ask my friends who are more into it for the jist of things.
I’m only really catching up on it anyway because I like Yoruko so much. In my heart I know she’s wlw (as for if she’s bi or a lesbian im not sure) and I’m basically just checking in to make sure LINUJ is treating her with respect.
Anyway! I’m gonna rank all the characters below in tiers from F to A. Like how you’d grade a paper. This’ll have spoilers and I might get things wrong, so I’m gonna keep it under the cut in case I have any followers who are closely following it.
F Tier - Yuri
I just do not like him. At all. He looks like Komaeda but he’s just so obnoxiously into women and just so rude to men that I just can’t stand it. Strange considering I like Tenko, though with her I can kinda understand why…? I dunno just. Don’t like him. Glad he was a one and done deal.
D Tier - Kanade
She’s just fucking weird, and like all sane people, I think incest is gross. She’s just so like weird about Hibiki and I think she should just leave her the hell alone. Also someone should get her some therapy.
C Tier - Emma, Kokoro, Hajime, Mikado, Teruya, Nikei, Shinji, Syobai, Hibiki
This is just the tier of characters I don’t particularly like, but don’t particularly dislike either. Hajime gets bonus points for offing Yuri, at least. I feel bad for Kokoro and Hibiki in particular.
B Tier - Sora, Setsuka, Iroha, Yuki
These guys I like. I’m glad LINUJ has the balls to have a female protag, although, she’s not very interesting until Chapter 5? I really don’t have any idea what the whole computer sim Void previous-people thing is all about, but like, it’s neat enough I guess.
Iroha is kinda what I was hoping Angie would be like. Someon whose talents come up in the story in like a non-weird, non cult-y way. She’s cute. Though I think tying your hair under your chin is stupid.
Spreaking of stupid hairstyles, thank god Teruya got a hat. I can’t take his pinhead hair seriously.
Yuki and Setsuka are nice. I like nice people. Though the whole “billiards eye” thing is quite frankly stupid as all hell imo.
A Tier - Yoruko
The one, the only Yoruko Kabuya, everybody! I love her. She’s so pretty, so sweet, so kind. I would date her in an instant. Please, LINUJ, let her live. Give her a gf. I want all of her dreams to come true I love her!!!!
One last thing. I think Hibiki and Kanade deserve a cooler band name.
And that’s all my thoughts??? Mikado’s a weird fucker. I think knowing the mastermind from the get go is weird??? Kinda purpose-defeating? Anyway, that’s it. See ya.
