Here's some social activists with dwarfism you may not know of!
(Left) Harry Wieder (1953-2010): Disability and gay rights activists, worked as a part of Act Up and Queer Nation and Housing Works during the Aids epidemic.
(Right) Colleen Fraser (1950-2001): Disabled rights activist, vice chair of the New York Disabilities Council and executive director for the Progressive Center for Independent Living.
Angela Muir Van Etten (b. 1949): Activist, writer, and lawyer, author of Dwarfs Don't Live in Doll Houses and president of Little People of America alongside her husband Robert Van Etten. Robert published a sorcebook for and aided in medical rehabilitation for persons with disabilities.
Tom Shakespeare (b. 1966): Disability rights activist and social scientist, director of the outreach for the Policy, Ethics and Life Sciences Research Institute (PEALS).
