Sora had been off since the battle at the Keyblade graveyard. 

He was still acting the same to most people, but everything he did that had once been full of so much life, was like that very life was leaving the poor boy with every passing day.

Yet...he never asked for help, maybe that was just how he did things, with landed him today with his other for once, its been a bit since he saw him last.

“Hey Roxas, so ya wanna come with me to another world? come ooooon iv’e missed you” throwing his hands behind his head with a grin that just wasn’t as bright as any he’s previously given.

“I wanna make sure the heartless populations under control ya know, and thought i’d ask if you wanna go with me.” 

   He barely paid attention to anything that didn’t catch his attention to obtain what he wanted, he only had eyes to find what he once lost and that was, his brother, other half. What he didn’t expect was to find the exact replica of his beloved light. From all the people, he had to meet up with him.

Although she was genuinely happy to see everyone hanging out in the Destiny Islands in order to remember that they’ve been saviors of this world as well as many others and invited one another to their respective worlds, the girl couldn’t hide her lost gaze into the distance. No... this isn’t right. I don’t have any right to enjoy this without him.

Restless as she was, this is what brought her to Twilight Town without notice even if Axel insisted to her that she can call anytime through the gummiphone so he can show her the new things done in the city to give it more life. Instead, she called Roxas to ask him if they can meet one day alone–– perhaps a strange thing to do for what little she disclosed about the matter, but she prefers to discuss this personally.

For all she knows, he’s been closely tied to Sora, even more than she had been when her heart found refugee in his own when the Destiny Islands were swallowed into darkness three years ago. If there’s someone who can give her a hint to help with her search for Sora, no matter how small it is, that should be Roxas, right?

“Thank you for coming.” She can’t blame him if he’s confused about this. But hopefully, he’ll agree to help her in this. After everything he went through, there’s no way she can’t put him through the struggle she knows she’ll face with this firm decision she has made. “I suppose you’ll wonder why I asked you to meet me alone... but I need your help to find Sora. When you’ve been able to join the fight–– or even right now as we stand, can you feel a bond with him? Anything that can lead me closer to him?”

“If I was Ventus, would I be pleading that you’re a mirror?” There’s a hiss in his voice, covering up the minor waver that he started with. All Roxas could do was stare, shoulders stiffening up, raising towards his ears. No no no no. Please just let this be a hallucination, let his brain be playing tricks on him. 

It has very clearly been a ‘hot minute’,as the technologically inclined youth of today say, since he’d had an honest and warm talk with Roxas. Not that he was all that far off in age, but he lived under a rock, and technology just wasn’t his thing.
