Have I mentioned that Breath of the Wild is AMAZING!?!?!

You know, the older I get the less ashamed I am of my nerdiness. Buying Breath of the Wild at launch today (well, "today" in that I haven't gone to bed yet) was a weirdly powerful moment for me. I remember when I was 8 years old running out of the room SCREAMING when a spider came down from the top level of The Great Deku Tree in Ocarina of Time. I didn't touch that game for a whole month. I've beaten it over 25 times since that initial scare ALMOST 20 YEARS AGO (yikes)! Then I remember playing Twilight Princess on the Wii in High School, waggling my Wiimote all day and night, terrified that I might "grow out of video games" because it seemed like no adults played them. It was just a hobby for kids, after all. And who would even buy them for me anymore? WELL I'M DEFINITELY AN ADULT NOW AND I MAY NOT BE MADE OF MONEY BUT THIS IS ZELDA LET'S GET REAL. I often skip lunch but there's always room in my wallet for endless adventure. Care to join me on my latest journey?
