Take thirty minutes to write something every day- writing is a muscle that atrophies and shrivels up like a grape exposed to sunlight. And you don’t want your writing to become a raisin. Raisins are awful. 

Tips will only take you so far. There is no magic one tip wonder to success.

Always keep your audience in mind. Little kids probably shouldn't be watching Higurashi levels of content.

Be prepared. One day, you’re working on your comic. The next day, you have to write a commercial featuring a death-themed perfume. 

Tip of the week: Your story is yours. Listen to your gut when you believe a critique is wrong for a story. You don’t always have to take every string of advice.

Your scripting tip: Though no one reads the script but your artist and possibly your editor, it is still very important to maintain proper grammar and punctuation. 

Watch good movies. Read good comics. Study how they do their panels. Steal.
