What is the difference between Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate?

hellsing came out first but doesn't follow the manga very well, it's still really neat and aesthetically pleasing. hellsing ultimate came out like 6 years after and follows the manga almost perfectly. the cast pretty much stays the same but there's A LOT of creative liberty taken with og hellsing vs ultimate. i would still recommend watching og hellsing because while it isn't canon, and can be kind of slow and / or not everyone's taste, it's still interesting to see and the animation is neat :3

AAAA bugs DO deserve better, ever since i started to take an interest in them again I've mostly gotten over my fears and think they're neat :)

Okay just finished the first ep of og. I'm not quite sure what I think about it yet, but the ending of the episode hit pretty good. But uh, it's uh, got some interesting op/ed music choices lol
