Life Update
Today was the first day of classes of my junior year of college. Crazy.
It's so great to be back in Spokane. I spent the first night in my house last night, and it was awesome. I'm excited to get to know all of these girls better. A bit nervous too, because, well...seven girls in one house equals a large hormone-to-square-foot ratio. But I think it'll be good.
I should have blogged about Bumbershoot while it was happening, but I didn't. And I can't really express how fantastic it was anyway, so I'll just recap.
My friends and I saw 21 bands over the course of three days.
We started with NUDE POP, who are from Spokane. The band members all go to Whitworth (or did at some point). They killed it. So good.
I met/shook hands with/talked to Wally from Gotye, LP, and Noah Gundersen. It was a bit surreal to meet Wally after watching him play in front of 16,000 people. He was so cute and a bit awkward. And he asked me for directions! We're basically best friends.
We ended the 3-day weekend with Passion Pit. I ended up front and center (well, almost front) and I have never been more of a hot mess than I was after that hour and a half. In the best way.
I want to live at music festivals. Always.
Man there is so much more to say. Mikayla and Mariah, remind me to talk to you guys about it sometime in the near future.
Well, I'm trying to get back into school mode. Which means homework. So I should not be on Tumblr.

Hey. I realize I could just text you this, but I'm on Tumblr and my laziness has reached an extreme level in which picking up my phone and typing this out on the tiny keyboard requires too much effort. Also, I don't want to wake you up if you're asleep. Here are the things I want to tell you: 1. Thank you for reblogging Donald. I love him. And it makes me feel good about myself when you reblog and/or like my posts. 2. On a related note, I fucking love Community. I know I told you this already but it's still true. I went camping the other day and actually missed being able to watch it. 3. Life update: I went camping! I drove down to Portland and spent some time with Melissa and Erin (who had flown up from LA to visit her). It was fun. 4. Can we do fun outdoor things like that? I'm thinking maybe we should try Colonel Bob again. 5. I'm going to see Moonrise Kingdom again with Mikayla and Amanda tomorrow :) I'm excited. 6. I like your Tumblr-book-post idea. I'd like to know what you're reading and what you think of it even when I'm not with you. 7. I'm currently reading Atonement and between that and your gifs, I probably don't even need to watch the movie because I basically have it all in my head in words and silent moving pictures. 8. That reminds me - in Portland I mentioned something about a gif and Erin said, "Gif? You mean like a jif?" and she was talking about gifs, but she says it with a soft g, like the peanut butter. She then proceeded to explain to Melissa what a gif was, and then acted it out. It was hilarious. 9. I'm going to Spokane on Thursday. So I'll be passing McCleary at maybe 7ish if you want me to stop by and say hi/give you back your jacket. 10. I miss and love you!

Lol alright, this is happening. Except i’m getting my hair trimmed next week cuz the ends are dead. I wonder if yours is longer than mine a this point? It must be.
Oh, definitely. I need to get mine trimmed too but it's actually getting fairly long. Hallelujah!
