I was posting the photo of my newest parcel from my phone and couldn't look it up easily. I knew it was you or maybe penopticon or someone else with "pen" to start :D
I'm really looking forward to trying the ink next weekend when I switch inks again! I think I'll use it in my Platinum Cool (or whatever it is - it seems to have a different name on the JetPens site), which has had really good shading with De Atramentis Cucumber Green and also with Ancient Copper and Diamine Aqua Blue. I feel like I have another deep blue ink sample floating around for me to try...it'd make a fun color set next week, different shades of blues for my notes and task lists at work. :D
(I kind of miss being in school just a tiny bit because of all the excuses to write more with more inks on the same page. But I also don't miss it because I was awful at the school part of school, and it stressed me out something terrible. Grad school about killed me!)
PS cucumber green might have some nice shading, but it's SO pale. it's a little too difficult to read. :( it makes me very sad, because otherwise, i like the way it's a yellowy slightly faded green.
