If YouTube wants to be the new Television, it's going to have to ease up on the copyright restrictions and start paying its' producers TV salaries. The New Screen Savers, the reincarnation of G4 and Now in the 90's died because the people behind them were trying to make TV shows on an internet budget with Internet restrictions. If the almighty algorithm wants me to start making videos the length of a prime time cop drama, nature documentary or movie, then YT is going to have to let me use whichever clips I need or want to use and it's going to have to pay me, a lot. Until then, YouTube, you'll get short videos and quickies from my channel and like it. What do I look like, somebody who's not lazy and doesn't have a short attention span??
