From inspiration to yardage! I’ve been playing around with tarot imagery lately - specifically the ace cards - but up until now, only on my ceramics. So, it was super fun to get back into the textiles department to create this repeat design for fabric! Tarot cards/reference images ➡️ drew the motifs (I used my iPad!) ➡️ created the repeat on acetate ➡️ made a fill layer with marker on tracing paper ➡️ printed in a couple of colors just to check it out. I’m thrilled! Not so sure about the weirdo pink on burgundy 🤔 but ya can’t win ‘em all.
