Red Carpet Entrance

Wada, Hasebe's actor, yelling out "Taizo~!" (Fudou's actor's name) when it was Taizo's turn to walk on the red carpet.

When it was Hirose's  (Uguiusumaru's actor) turn to walk on the red carpet, Wada told Hirose to slow down because he was walking way too fast. Hirose decided to walk back a few steps and do it over. :P

Wada prompting the audience to scream for the director, and the Touken Danshi cheering for him as well.

Hiroki, Mikazuki's actor, later on revealed that they asked to take their time walking on the red carpet. (A minute each, to be exact.) He was already feeling nervous when he put on the tuxedo, and felt even more nervous when the staff instructed them how long they had to walk. And what's more, he was the first one to walk on the carpet, so there was pressure on him to be a good example for everyone who's going to walk after him.

Cast Intro

Wada talking before the MC could introduce him again, and his reaction when everybody told him off for talking too early. He jokingly said that he had his hair done with Hasebe in mind, and that he's in high spirits because it's his first time having his hair done like that.

Hirose greeting the audience and saying "Yes, hello!" before they could greet him back lol. Also, him asking his parents if they're watching even though he knew they couldn't be since they were on a trip during that time.

Stage Greeting Outfits

Their outfits for the day were based on the characters they play.

First off, they commented on how Mackey's (Manba's actor) white tuxedo stands out. It kind of felt like he was pretending to be in Kouhaku, Wada added. In the dressing room, they thought about maybe dirtying up his tuxedo a little since Manba's mantle isn't that clean. :P

When asked about what difficulties they faced while shooting, Kitamuu (and Taizo) answered "wearing short shorts". There are many bloodsucking insects in the mountain, and Taizo was the first "victim", so to speak. When he slapped away the insect feasting on his thigh, a lot of blood came gushing out. So they panicked and thought it was a leech that bit him, but it turned out to be a black fly. Taizo then went on to try and explain how black flies feed on people, but Wada stopped him: Wada: We don't need to know about that! Enough! We don't want to hear it! Kitamuu: Tai-chan's learned a lot about black flies thanks to what he experienced! Mackey: Yeah, he really knows a lot about black flies! If you want to know more about them, ask him! Taizo: I got most of the info from Wikipedia though. Iwanaga: You even did an image search to identify it. Taizo: Yeah, I looked for it so bad. Once I did, I went, "You!!"

The movie was shot last March, and the forest was freezing during nighttime. The staff was kind enough to provide leg warmers (Kitamuu describes it as something like blankets that they can wrap around their legs) for Kitamuu and Taizo though. Taizo: Though they probably only provided those 'cause I complained too much. Kitamuu: Don't be like that!

Fuma talked about how he was new to doing stage combat, and how his seniors, like Kitamuu, for example, taught him things during their breaks and practiced with him. He also saw Hiroki keep on "pulling out and putting back" his sword during their breaks.
