Due Wednesday
Gotta write the first 8 pages for my 30 page script. It's due tomorrow morning, but I won't complain because this is the only time I can actually BS it and still get a good grade.
Concept 22 Number 3
The TV show my group is working on is character-driven. The people make the story move forward and there is no real conflict that moves the characters forth. It's the fact that the group of five friends have very different interests and personalities that make them an interesting group. The way they interact with one another and their interests affect their decisions. In our pilot, they all get jobs they don't like because of their interests and this provides us with the conflict of the episode.
Concept Thirteen Number 1
If my life were a movie, my parallel self would possibly be at home, ditching school. I've been one to often think about ditching school, but I don't have the guts to. If I were to actually ditch, I think I would grow the confidence to actually ditch and would be doing it more often. I would still be in a lot of advanced classes, but I wouldn't care. It would probably intersect a lot with my actual life, but school would be a lot different.
Dialogue Practice
Bill - very specific
Daniel - sex jokes
Nick - basic vocabulary
Karen - angry
Kim - very to the point and blunt
Neal - quiet about his geeky things
Sam - large vocabulary

Concept Twelve Number One
Toy Story
FADE IN: INT. ANDY'S BEDROOM
ANDY (O.S.)
ANGLE: THE ADJOINING DINING ROOM
SFX: FOOTSTEPS
Concept Ten Numbers 1-3
1. I know being a teenager, being an older sister to two younger, obnoxious siblings, dealing with parents going through a divorce, Lake Tahoe in the summer and winter, large group of friends.
2. Lots of books are all over my house. Books and websites created by experts. Family friends.
3. Abstract Art. I would go to museums and see what it's about and talk to art teachers teaching how it works and then probably explain that knowing how to do it gives you a way to express yourself.
Concept Nine Number One
1. Avatar 2. Titanic 3. The Dark Knight
Setting is Titanic, character is Batman, plot is Avatar.
Batman (as Bruce Wayne of course) is taking the unsinkable ship, the Titanic, to "the new world" to settle down and help his business and the "new world" thrive. On the boat, he meets a native from the "new world" who is being used as hired help. He falls in love with her and tells her who he really is and that, as Batman, he will protect the natives.
