Lucy received a very warm reception when she arrived for Lucy Day at the 1964 World's Fair. Lucy got a big kick out the contingent of high school students from Newark, New Jersey that was there to greet her. 'Among those waiting at Gate 2 were the 64 members of St. Lucy's Drum and Bugle Corps from Newark and their 18āgirl color guard.
